Born in New Jersey and raised in California. I come from a family where a camera was an integral part of our lives. I received my first camera at the age of 13. I don’t remember the last time I didn’t have a camera with me. I was inspired and encouraged by my brother Alan, also a photographer, to pursue my photography abilities to share my works with others. I have always looked for the beauty in life. I feel that when you are with anything alive and treat that living thing with kindness you will be reciprocated with kindness. Flowers are an example of living things that reciprocate your kindness with their colors. I am a self taught photographer and after over 50 years with a camera, I still get a thrill when I see something that may have the potential for a wonderful photograph. My goal as an artist is to evoke emotions from those who see my works. I have won numerous awards ranging from best in photography to my favorite popular choice award.
